I work remotely as an Embedded Systems Engineer with Rhoman Aerospace, a Los Angeles–based aerial autonomy startup. Most of my time goes into building the perception and autonomy algorithms that let drones actually ‘see’ their surroundings and make decisions in real time.

I recently defended my PhD in the field of Robotics from Oregon State University, advised by Dr. Ross Hatton. My research specialized in geometric algorithms and control optimization for mobile dynamic robots. I am an expert in nonlinear dynamics and control for robotic systems.

In my free time, I enjoy making ceramic pottery and laser-cut art. I also enjoy playing the guitar and banjo, rock climbing, and whitewater rafting.
